Amy Warden – Founder and Director
Amy Warden [nee Lockyer] has studied for over 20 years and worked in the field of environmental science for over 15 years. This combined with the an up bringing on a Fine Marino and Cattle property in Guyra NSW, and the current farm management of small cattle business in Biloela, Central QLD has provided for extensive, Environmental Science and Agricultural experiences. Working extensively for private enterprise on compliance, approvals and development as well having worked in local government under assessment approvals for environmental impacts, and development, provides for a specific specialisation in development, approvals, compliance and project planning in Queensland.
Growing up in rural NSW made for an excellent appreciation of the natural beauty of the bush. This practical foundation was a natural segue into the love and study of sciences and the natural environment. 20 years on my appreciation for and respect for science has been furthered by a career in local government and private industry, as well as practical application on our family farm in Thangool Central Queensland.
Primary experience is in government development and approval, environmental science and agricultural practical application and land management.
Benn Warden – Director
Benn has successfully built the families rural business, into a productive and rewarding enterprise. Our cattle enterprise in Thangool focuses on trade cattle and quality breeding genetics. Benn has also actively improved the landscape, through renovation, and commitment to pasture development over the past 10years.
Benn is also an experienced, and competent operator who has worked in the mining industry for over 16 years and is currently working towards obtaining his OCE certification.
Our passion is to take fundamental science and apply it to practical regenerative and restorative land management. What we practice professionally, is also emanated privately in our home, the life long love of learning and sciences is ever present. To share this knowledge and technical experiences with other small business owners and large business alike is a passion that resonates through EMA Consultancy and Services.
